LVJUSD Moves to By-Trustee Area Elections
This November, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District voters will elect school board members under a new system: By-Trustee Area Elections. Instead of voting for any candidate districtwide, voters will now only be able to vote for the candidate running in their specific trustee area. This change was made to ensure that all parts of Livermore have dedicated representation on the school board.
Three of the district's five seats are up for election this year: Area 2, Area 3, and Area 5.
