School Board Candidate Forums
Two separate school board candidate forums were held, giving community members a chance to hear directly from the people seeking to serve on the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District board. We urge all members of the Livermore community to watch these forums. School board decisions shape our children's classrooms, our teachers' working conditions, and the future of our schools, so it is worth taking the time to learn where each candidate stands before you vote.
Monday, September 28 School Board Candidate Forum hosted by Livermore Vine and Livermore Indivisible. All seven candidates were invited. All seven showed up.
Saturday, October 3 Non-partisan School Board Candidate Forum hosted by PFLAG Tri-Valley, APAPA Tri-Valley Chapter, and Tri-Valley for Black Lives. All seven candidates were invited. Only three showed up.
