Stephen Orgain

A Generic Campaign Website and a Scrubbed Social Media Record

Stephen Orgain is a candidate for the Area 2 seat on the LVJUSD Board of Education. Before you vote, look at what he has said at the candidate forum and online.

He has no public education experience. Orgain's campaign website looks polished but says little. He believes his business experience qualifies him to serve on the board, and he has never regularly attended or spoken at a school board meeting.

His own words hint at an agenda. In his Livermore Vine profile, Orgain used the phrase “politics and personal agendas.” At the September 28 School Board Candidate Forum, he spoke about “indoctrination” in schools.

He has urged the district to act against state law. At the forum, Orgain said he is comfortable with some parts of California law, such as “gender neutral bathrooms” and “the rise in the LGBTQ+ community.” Then he said “when it comes to children's sports. Biological males will play with biological males, and biological females will play with biological females.” That statement is advocacy for the district to violate California law and put itself in legal jeopardy.

His social media shows who he really is. Orgain’s posts, most of which have since been scrubbed, show a Trump Republican. He called the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol “…an affront to common sense, our intelligence as a voting populace, and our investigative bodies.”

He hid his own “politics and personal agendas.” Below are additional posts by Steve Orgain that have now been removed. He did not want voters to see them, so we saved them for you.
